Join us for our next Showcase from our Write What’s Next mentoring course with a LIVE Launch of not one but TWO new children’s books written by local writers Jennifer Khalil and Ana Caroline Colombo and an EXCLUSIVE reading of an upcoming YA fiction by Elizabeth Ryan.
Award winning Novelist Yvonne Battle Felton will be reading a new extract of upcoming new novel and introducing each new writers and their story in the Children’s Library at Liverpool Central Library as part of the Liverpool City Council’s Year for Writing celebration event.
These stories of imagination, family and myth have been developed on WoW’s Write What’s Next course with mentor Yvonne Battle Felton. Writing on the Wall partnered with Sheffield Hallam University graphic design students to create bespoke illustrations for each story.
Working together these writers and artist have created stories that show the importance of storytelling, creativity and imagination. See how the power of imagination can transform a simple brown box into a rocket ship, to how the rain feels about being told to go away to exploring a dystopian future and what it takes to survive.
