It’s a sad day for us at Writing on the Wall, saying goodbye to our Project Manager Ciarán Hodgers. But Ciarán is moving on to great new opportunities in his working and personal life, so we prefer to celebrate the amazing work he has done with us over the past four years.
Ciarán has been responsible for coordinating our 2018, 19, 20, and 21st festivals, and has worked tirelessly to deliver brilliant stand-out month-long programmes for each year.
He has delivered numerous projects and events – too many to mention them all, but the most recent stand out of these has been the launch and delivery of our online writing centre The Writer’s Bloc, which, along with our projects in the past 15 months, has been an invaluable artistic intervention and creative and personal support so many during the pandemic and Lockdowns.
On top of all that he is a very talented poet in his own right, and we were honoured to host the launch of his debut poetry collection COSMOCARTOGRAPHY at Writing on the Wall. We’ll miss his warmth and humour.
He’s been a key part of our team for so long that it’s hard to imagine him not being with us. We wish him well for the future and are sure the road will rise up to meet him.
